Heat oven to 350 F
1 cup white margarine, softened (Substitute Organic Butter)
1/3 cup smooth peanut butter (Substitute Organic Peanut Butter)
3 ½ cups lightly packed brown sugar (Substitute Coconut Palm Sugar)
3 teaspoons vanilla (Substitute Organic Pure Vanilla)
3 large eggs
¾ cup sour cream
3 ¾ cups all-purpose flour (Substitute Organic Flour)
2 teaspoons baking powder (Substitute Organic Aluminum Free Baking Powder)
1 ½ teaspoons salt (Substitute Sea Salt)
1 ½ cups baking cocoa powder (Substitute Organic Cocoa Powder)
1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (Substitute Organic Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips)
Cream the first 6 ingredients together.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa and add to creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonful onto a greased baking sheet. (Batter is quite stiff)
Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool for 4 minutes on baking sheet.
